  South Weymouth – South Shore Savings Bank announces that Candace Means, of Weymouth, has been promoted to Accounting Officer, and that Carol Shoughrow, of Hanson, has been promoted to Deposit Operations Officer. Both work in the Bank’s offices in South Weymouth. 

Means joined the Bank in 2000 as a Junior Accountant. In 2002 she was promoted to Accountant, and was named Accounting Supervisor in 2006.  She received a Certificate in Banking Foundations from New England College of Finance, where she is working toward an Associate Degree.

Shoughrow joined the Bank in 2002 as an Electronic Banking Clerk, and was promoted in 2006 to a Deposit Operations Team Leader. She was promoted to Deposit Operations Supervisor later that year.  Shoughrow is currently pursuing her Automated Clearing House certification and an Associate Degree from New England College of Finance.
