On May 7th, MassHousing honored six of their top-producing lending partners at their Home Ownership Awards Ceremony. This annual event recognizes MassHousing lending partners for their excellence in promoting and originating the agency’s affordable mortgage and mortgage insurance products.
South Shore Savings Bank was honored for being the 2007 top producer of MassHousing’s Home Improvement loan program.
MassHousing is the leading provider of affordable housing in Massachusetts. They provide predictable, safe, low and no down payment first mortgages that feature interest rates at or below market. Their second mortgages allow homeowners to make general repairs, remove hazardous lead paint, or bring a failing septic system into compliance with the state’s Title V.
